Might Lion Band Guestbook

Thanks band board for an AWESOME band camp! I knew there was tons of work involved, but I had NO IDEA! I have never had so much fun being worked to utter exhaustion! Thanks for letting me be a part of this milestone in my son's life! BTW we all have the best kids! Every band student I met was helpful, courteous, friendly, and kind. Thank you Terri, Stephanie, all the rest of the band board, Mr. Walker, and all the staff. Sean had the "best week ever".

I just got my house and myself wrapped in TP by the best band peoples in the world. Im going to have a long day 2morrow cleaning up. Hahahahahahahahaha. I lov u peoples. Buda

hey guys, im an alum from 2004, you guys still make me proud, i make it out to all the showcase shows, and i try and make it to everywhere i can get to. you guys rock and i just wanna wish you luck on all future adventures.

Hey LHS Band, I didn't get to see you guys perform all that much this year, what with the rainy season we have had (esp. it seems on Friday nights for football games), but I did see you perform at Bandboree, District and Showcase. LHS Band was awesome at Showcase and I must say, this year was not my most favorite show that you guys have done over the years, but what you did, you did extremely well. Congratulations on a great marching season and can't wait for next year.

From a LHS band member from 1968 to 1972 I have to say another great performance by the LHS Band today. The tradition, indeed, continues. Anybody surprised by Parkview not placing?

Marching season is almost done you guys!!! I have to say that i have enjoyed my years in this awesome family that we call band. Being a senior has made me realize how much the underclassmen really look up to us, and I will do everything I can do to make their time in this band worth their while. I would like to thank Mr.Walker,Mr.Gleason, Mr.Kilchrist, Mr.Cork, Ms.Lestelle, Ms.LeBlanc, and Mr.Fraser for making my years in this organization everything that I hoped it would be. To all my fellow seniors, thanks for being supportive friends and for the friendships that we have shared. Goodluck to everyone!!!! Showcase will be yet ANOTHER victory!!!!!!

I would like to congratulate the staff and band for their consistent pursuit of perfection in all of their perfomances. The band is awesome...keep up the good work!

It was so exciting watching my son perform last night in the Mighty Lions Band. I have been away from home a lot preparing for another deployment to Iraq. Last nigt was the first time that I was able to see the band perform on the field. I was blown away!

congratulations to the band members and the staff on their continued success. you are the brightest and most talented group of students that have given of yourselves to prove that they say are a tribute to the lion's of lafayette high. as a parent of one of your former band student, keep eye's with pride.

I wanted to thank the members of the Lafayette High Band for sending a good luck card to the Catholic High Band. In my 8 years of teaching that has never happened. Am I the only soul who anticipates pictures for band camp ?

Just got home from watching your show guys. I must say it was out of this world! To Danny D, I am a composition major at UL and thanks to you I want to quit my major and yet keep trying because you are amazingly incredible at writing! I am jealous and honored and proud to have marched your music form the "ballad" from Altered States )my freshman year) to Wild Orchid (senior year). To the directors and staff, these kids (including myself at the time) could not be where we are, where we have been, and where we will be thanks to your guidance! Thanks! And to all present and future band kids, we all could only do so much with all the directors and staffs help but in the end it is all on us. Good job! I love each and everyone of you with all my heart and soul and wish nothing but the best for all of you and hope you stick with this till the end! Man the places and things I can tell you!

everyone greatly believes that I hate band. Gosh, im a senior and still here. I lost two clarinets which equals up to $5000 and I still got the money to buy a brand new one just to play in this band ONE more year ='). To be honest Im not a social person, but i fit in just great with people because they love me ! im not mean im just firm. I love all my band family members; even the ones who think I hate them. I can't wait for this 2009-2010 band year. I can't predict anything that may or may not happen . Im a senior now so anythings goes !

Well the summer of my senior year is now upon me and the rest of my class as well. Then, before we all know it we will be entering college! Now I look back, and just like four years ago, I'm about to be a freshman! This time at UL! To the band, directors, parents, and all else who I know I will forget, thank you for four amazing years and because of my sister and after her time brother entering in, I'm looking forward to eight more years! Friends. 2010 Seniors. We finally made it to our final year of High School. Lets take all of what we learned and make the show of dreams. My fellow band members, this year has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Through all the hard days, the exciting days and the really weird ones, we've made it. hey mr,walker it seem like for ever!!! the band has grown so big since when i graudated in 05!!! i wish i could go back and do it all over again!!! those where the best time!!!!

HEY BAND! I have to say that band was the most memorable experience of my life. I wish that I didn't quit my senior year because I regret it terribly. That is one year of band that I have missed and will never get back; it wasn't worth quitting. So for those who are "tired of band," just let me tell you that you will not know what to do with yourself if you quit. I realized that all the hard work and time consumption really shaped me into a better person. So stay in band while you can and don't let people tell you that there are better things in high school to experience, because there aren't. Much love to the Mello Mafia.

Hello LHS Band My name's Will and i was tuba section leader from 04 to 06. Just wanted to drop a line, even though it's a little late, of congratulations on placing twelfth in the nation. that is one impressive feat. Way to go band, and of course, without the tubas, where would you be? hahaha!!!! well that's really all i have to say but i'm sure i'll see you all around sometime soon, if not at camp, then maybe during the season. Remember to keep your head held high and your eyes always...... WITH PRIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The amazing experiance I have encountered this past marching season. I am VERY greatful to have been a part of this amazing accomplishment. I complain about band a great deal. But, I actually Love band. When,my senior year faces me next year. I am going to always remember the times i spent with this exilirating band. Thanks to; Walker, Gleason, Sampia, Danny, and other helpers, Band parents! We made 12th place; Bam!
