The LHS Mighty Lion Marching Band earned the Grand Champion award at the 2008 Louisiana Showcase of Marching Bands competition! The band was also awarded First Place Band - Large Class, and First Place Band - AAAA/Open Class

The Color Guard earned First Place Auxiliary - Overall, First Place Auxiliary - AAAA/Open Class and First Place Auxiliary - Large Class. Persussion was awarded Second Place Percussion - AAAA/Open Class.

Congratulations to all of the band members for a job well done. Your hard work is definitely shining through.
